Ronald McDonald House Adelaide is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that provides practical assistance to families whose seriously ill children are receiving treatment at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. The House provides accommodation and support to families who live more than 100km from metropolitan Adelaide.
Staying at the House helps families by reducing the financial burden of travelling to Adelaide with their children for treatment and gives them immediate access to a support network. The House relies upon community support and fundraising in order to provide accommodation and support services to hundreds of families every year.
At First National Riggall we are proud to be involved with RMHA's Family Dinner Program.
The Family Dinner program invites teams to prepare dinner for the families staying at the House. It can be hard for families to spend each day in a hospital environment, so at the end of a long and emotional day we like to think we make these families day a little easier by preparing a nourishing, home-cooked meal for them.
